The story behind the origin of this rice dish and the traditions of its consumption is coming back to the 1000 year A.D. However, paella, more or less similar to the modern one, appeared only in XV century. It was cooked in Spain on Sundays and on March 19th – St. Josef Day.
So let’s not break the practice – let’s meet on Sunday and try delicious paella with shrimps, calamary and mussels.
