The main dish of the Lantern Festival

This dish can be tasted only once a year! On February 12 China will celebrate the Lantern Festival, which marks the end of New Year’s celebrations and that the spring is coming. Like any traditional holiday it has its own treat. And these are sweet and fragrant rice balls – yuanxiao. The chef of our Seasons restaurant will prepare for you two most popular fillings: bean paste and black sesame with peanuts. Dessert symbolizes the full moon and the family reunion after separation. The Chinese believe that if your family eat yuanxiao you will live together happily ever after.
